please meet my nephew and pumpkin. [ i have decided that i’m going to use them to improve my photography skills. ]
they are adorable, but they remind me how much i miss being in a relationship. i really miss that compassion for another person. i admit, i’m still not completely over my only previous relationship (maybe never will be), but it is adorable to see two people that really and truly are in love.

the year, summarized.

so, i’m expecting a birthday tomorrow and i’d like to take this time to reflect on everything i have accomplished / experienced in the past year.

001. moved out of an unhealthy environment ( i love my friends, but that situation was not good )
002. paid off quite a bit of debt.
003. connected with my family.
004. learned more about my strengths and weaknesses.
005. started pursuing my dreams.

what can i say, it has been a very productive year.
can’t wait to celebrate making it through another year with some of my favorite people.

i have so many great ideas, yet i lack the ability to be able to focus my ideas into one strong concept. constantly, i switch things up, develop new concepts, and come up with amazing new designs and features for these concepts. but, i’m really lacking focus. i always have so many things on my mind and so many great concepts that i want to incorporate them all. i need to really sit down, map out how i want to do things, come up with the designs, and go for it. it’s a shame i used to have more focus and drive as a teenager than i do now. i used to sit for hours at a time drawing out page layouts, drawing designs, experimenting with new concepts, and really making my dreams come true. i need to get back to that way of thinking and working. i’m putting my all into everything i do from now on.
